modern Floral Design Studio

The Story of Kindbloom

Kindbloom is a modern floral design studio, specializing in floral installations and ikebana, the art of Japanese floral arranging.

Founder, Emily Stacy is trained and certified by Japan’s Sogetsu ikebana school. This was a conscientious choice, due to the attention to detail and care that goes into traditional Japanese floral arranging—something that continues to get passed down to this day.

Kindbloom was founded on two pillars: artistic expression and kindness.

Emily leverages her experience as a multi-disciplinary artist and psychologist in her floral design with mindful creative expressions, and her ikebana workshops include trauma-informed care and
meditative techniques.

In addition to offering sliding scale and pro bono workshops to marginalized groups, Emily volunteers on the board of directors for Sogetsu Colorado, a local non-profit that promotes accessible Sogetsu classes across the Denver metro area and western slope.
